Cynthia de la Serna comes to her successful real estate practice from an impressive background in television advertising and marketing. A native of Mexico City, Cynthia is bi-lingual and speaks both Spanish and English, a terrific “plus” in a cosmopolitan city such as Houston. “The skills I learned in advertising and marketing for a fast-paced medium like television serve me well in my equally fast-paced real estate career,” Cynthia says. “I learned that you cannot follow the market; you must lead and that is especially true in real estate. I am able to devise creating successful marketing plans for my sellers and, by truly knowing my market area, help my buyers make wise decisions.” It is important to Cynthia to be highly organized, extremely responsible and very punctual. “I am proud that when I drive around my market area, my neighborhood, I know every single house, who lives in it, when it was sold, and what the sales price was. This is invaluable information for my clients,” she says. “I think my favorite time is when I introduce newly-married couples to the perfect first house. The looks of happiness on their faces mean everything to me.” Cynthia is married and the mother of two young children. When not working, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family.
