For Martha Turner Properties’ Circle of Excellence member Joan Holcombe, there is no higher compliment than a referral from current or former clients. Joan holds a sincere dedication to all of her clients’ real estate goals and provides the same excellent service in every transaction, regardless of price point. From finding the “perfect home” or the “perfect buyers” to closing, her confident, knowledgeable approach and honed negotiation skills reassure clients should problems arise and assure a smooth transition.
“Helping clients find the right home that they will love and be happy in is one of the things I love most about my job,” says Joan. “Listening, communicating, always being available, educating clients to the market and showing them their options are so important. My clients trust me to have their best interests at heart and I treasure the on-going friendships that come from working so closely with people in what can sometimes be a stressful and emotional time in their lives.”
Joan’s practice of real estate is enhanced by the imagination and eye for detail she has developed as an artist working in oil painting and bronze sculpture. Recognized among Houston’s top producers, Joan specializes in traditional neighborhoods from the Museum District/Southampton and West University areas to River Oaks, Bellaire, Braeswood, the Heights and the close-in Memorial area.
Joan attended Southern Methodist University and graduated cum laude from the University of Houston. A long-time River Oaks resident, Joan, her husband and two children support many of Houston’s civic and social organizations. She is an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, where she has belonged for 24 years.
