Texas REALTOR® Lobby Day Registration

Register for the Texas REALTOR® Lobby Day in Austin

Your HAR Governmental Affairs Department invites you to join your fellow Texas REALTORS® to attend Texas REALTOR® Lobby Day in Austin, on Tuesday, March 31. It will be an informative and most of all fun day in Austin as you network with fellow REALTORS® from all over the state and meet with your state lawmakers to discuss matters of concern to the real estate industry.

Appraisal reform, business vehicle exemption form, eminent domain, professional liability (E&O) insurance, homeowners associations, mandatory sales price disclosure, mortgage fraud, property tax appraisal caps, real estate transfer tax, a tax on professional services and windstorm insurance are some of the issues that will be addressed this session. It is important that REALTORS® make their presence known to their legislators to put a face behind the issues that matter most to protect your pocketbooks and livelihoods.

A minimum $99 TREPAC investment is necessary for members and their spouses or guests to participate in Texas REALTOR® Lobby Day. If you are not an HAR member, contact Anna Kong at anna@har.com for a registration form.

Hill Visit participants will have an opportunity to purchase a ticket for a barbeque lunch to be served at the TAR building from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Lunch tickets are only $12 and must be purchased by March 17. No tickets will be available on site.

For your convenience, buses are planned to leave from Houston, Bay Area, Fort Bend and Montgomery County branch offices. A minimum of 20 reservations is required by March 14 in order to best serve members in these locations. We will keep you informed as the date draws closer.

For more information, contact HAR Governmental Affairs Coordinator Anna Kong at anna@har.com.

Please only register ONE time with the Houston Association of REALTORS®. HAR will provide registration information to TAR. Do not register with both HAR and TAR.
